Arbre i huracà//Tree and hurricane//Árbol y huracán.

En mig d’un tifó l’arbre d’arrels superficials, per fort que sembli, pot ser arrancat en un instant. Tampoc n’hi ha prou en tenir arrels profundes, s’ha de poder vinclar sense trencar-se i la capçada ha de ser senzilla per no oferir resistència al fort vent.

Conèixer-nos a nosaltres mateixos ens proveeix d’arrels profundes. L’espiritualitat ens fa prou flexibles davant les circumstàncies i aleshores, l’ego, la capçada, no causa oposició quan ens entenem i entenem als altres en l’ímpetu de les diferents relacions en les que ens movem per la vida.

In the middle of a typhoon, the tree with superficial roots, however strong it may seem, can be plucked in an instant. Nor is it enough to have deep roots, it must be able to bend without breaking and the tree canopy must be simple so as not to offer strong wind resistance.

Knowing ourselves provides us with deep roots. Spirituality makes us quite flexible in the face of circumstances and then, the ego, the canopy, does not cause opposition when we understand us and we understand at the others in the momentum of the different relationships in which we move through life.

En medio de un tifón el árbol de raíces superficiales, por fuerte que parezca, puede ser arrancado en un instante. Tampoco basta con tener raíces profundas, debe poder doblarse sin romperse y la copa del árbol debe ser sencilla para no ofrecer resistencia al viento fuerte.

Conocernos a nosotros mismos nos provee de raíces profundas. La espiritualidad nos hace bastante flexibles ante las circunstancias y entonces, el ego, la copa, no causa oposición cuando nos entendemos y entendemos a los demás en el ímpetu de las diferentes relaciones en las que nos movemos por la vida.
