Mentre l’ànima hi és//As long as the soul is there//Mientras el alma está ahí

Mentre meditava aquesta nit.., m’he trobat en un moment amb el cap cot i el cos encorbat cap endavant.., m’havia adormit! I un pensament com un llampec m’ha vingut a la ment: és clar.., quan l’ànima se’n va del cos, el cos queda com una marioneta quan els fils que manejava el ninotaire els ha deixat anar.
Quan dormim l’ànima s’allibera del cos i se’n va on mai sabrem, però no és pas com quan deixa el cos definitivament, no; l’ànima manté un fil subtil de connexió amb el cos que encara té prou energia per seguir vivint, i torna.

While I was meditating tonight.., I found myself at one point with my head bowed and my body bent forward.., I had fallen asleep! And a thought like a flash came to my mind: of course… when the soul leaves the body, the body remains like a marionette like when the puppeteer has let go of the strings it was handling.
When we sleep the soul is freed from the body and goes where we will never know, but it is not like when it leaves the body definitively, no; the soul maintains a subtle thread of connection with the body that still has enough energy to continue living, and it returns.

Mientras meditaba esta noche.., me encontré en un momento con la cabeza inclinada y el cuerpo inclinado hacia adelante… ¡me había quedado dormida! Y vino a mi mente un pensamiento como un relámpago: claro… cuando el alma sale del cuerpo, el cuerpo queda como una marioneta como cuando el titiritero ha soltado los hilos que manejaba.
Cuando dormimos el alma se libera del cuerpo y va a donde nunca sabremos, pero no es como cuando sale del cuerpo definitivamente, no; el alma mantiene un hilo sutil de conexión con el cuerpo que aún tiene energía suficiente para seguir viviendo, y regresa.
