Es diu que és difícil per a la gent honesta viure en aquest món, que han de dir mentides. Però, per a la veritat, es necessari tenir el poder de la tolerància. S’ha de tolerar tot, inclinar-se, s’ha d’acceptar la derrota.., però, allò no es derrota, és victòria per sempre.

La tolerància ens la pot mostrar un arbre elàstic que es blega al pas de l’huracà i no es trenca, i, quan ha passat la tempesta, es torna a alçar ben estalvi i sencer. Sí, s’ha hagut d’inclinar gairebé fins el terra i deixar passar el vendaval; és una derrota això? Jo diria que és una victòria si fem una ullada al seu voltant i veiem els grans arbres rectes i forts estellats pel terra; els que no es corbaven han sigut vençuts. L’ego ens pot fer entossudir per a que es consideri la nostra veritat, però la veritat dels altres pot ser com un huracà i seria com una competició. La veritat no s’ha de demostrar perquè contra més la volem fer prevaldre més s’afebleix. La veritat més tard o més d’hora es demostrarà ella sola.

Yo diría que es una victoria si miramos a nuestro alrededor y vemos los árboles grandes, rectos y fuertes astillados por el suelo; los que no se doblegaron fueron vencidos. El ego puede volvernos tercos para que nuestra verdad sea considerada, pero la verdad de los demás puede ser como un huracán y sería como una competición. La verdad no tiene que ser demostrada porque cuanto más intentamos hacerla prevalecer, más se debilita. La verdad se mostrará por sí sola mas tarde o mas temprano.
