El incendio del exceso de palabras.

No dejéis que sea una semilla vacía que no produce fruto alguno. Considerad los pensamientos de desperdicio como una selva de cañas de bambú: una crece automáticamente de la otra y se rozan unas con otras hasta que se prenden fuego, y luego se queman en el fuego que ellas mismas crearon.
¿De donde provienen las palabras? Evidentemente de los pensamientos. ¿De donde viene el exceso de palabras? Está claro que del exceso de pensamientos. Es muy sencillo de comprobar.
En el ámbito occidental, los silencios no están muy bien vistos; se consideran como de animadversión, aburrimiento por la compañía, desagrado, un aburrimiento de persona…, etc. Se dice: quién calla, otorga y eso nos presiona para no callar. Pero en oriente el silencio, aunque no lo haya en general, no está peyorizado, sino que es un signo de espiritualidad y hay respeto por quién lo practica.
Quienes no tenemos el hábito de la cháchara y nos forzamos a hablar, y hablamos…, cuesta iniciar el mecanismo, pero de pronto nos sentimos arrastrados por un torbellino de palabras que nos salen casi indiscriminadamente de la boca y casi no se puede parar. Cuando por fin ese torrente se ha ralentizado…, puede que sintamos agotamiento o un vacío interior; puede que lo dicho no haya tenido tiempo de asentarse en la mente; es así como actúa el exceso de pensamientos, no hay reflexión. Se quema la energía.
Alguna vez me he preguntado: ¿Qué motiva a los grandes habladores a hablar? A mi me motiva el comunicar lo que creo que pueda interesar a otros, pero eso no me lleva mucho rato. Creo que siendo económica con las palabras no voy a cansar a nadie y voy a expresarme más eficazmente y mi mente habrá trabajado en algo útil para mi y para los demás: SINTETIZAR.
