There is the example of who wants to get out of the quagmire and is looking around to see if there is some support to grab to get out of it but does not get it, and, at some point someone reaches out to lend a hand, but in the attempt He is also dragged to the depth of the mud with him, thus keeping the two trapped, blaming each other for their mutual misfortune. And so it goes on with everyone who tries to help them, because nobody is strong enough to get out of that trap. Until finally a strong guy arrives who looks at them smiling when He sees such a spectacle in the midst of the dirty quagmire and lays out as many ropes as trapped individuals. Would not we grab that rope immediately to get out of the big quagmire?
This cartoon is a simile of how we are now, the whole humanity. We have taken all the supports and they have broken. We have grasped us of those around us and we may have sunk them with us. And now that we have that Great Strongman looking at us smiling lovingly …, are not we going to grab those rope that has thrown us so that we can free ourselves once and for all from such grief?
He is not going to back down when we embrace Him, with all the dirt we carry in us, to thank Him, if not that he will help us to get rid of all that ballast. Afterwards, we will feel so fortunate and grateful, that we will want to help him get everyone out of the same quagmire in which we remained.
God, the Father, the Supreme Soul, etc., all the names that define Him, is here, because we are all trapped. He is handing us a cable, we just have to hold on tightly to him. If we do not have the fortune to have a inkling of Him, it does not matter, we can first hold the rope in the form of Raja Yoga that He has thrown us … and then we may have the experience. There is a saying: inspiration has to catch you working.
