On resideix el veritable poder

El poder de la cooperació és natural: en aquest planeta no podria existir res sense ell. Com podríem prosperar els éssers humans sense la cooperació dels arbres, les plantes, l’aire, la terra i la llum del sol? En el regne de la natura es poden veure molts exemples de cooperació mútuament beneficiosa.
Vivim en una societat que no existiria si no hi hagués cooperació. Encara que no funcioni tan bé com hauria de ser, cada un de nosaltres presta un servei molt necessari per als altres; hospitals, fleques, botigues, escoles …
La cooperació amb el món exterior és fàcil quan ens posicionem amb confiança i humilitat, deixant espai perquè els altres puguin entrar i crear amb nosaltres. Llavors, les persones estan obertes, són tolerants, i senten que poden confiar.
Si volem que una tasca compartida sigui un veritable èxit, ha de ser satisfactòria per a tothom: tots els implicats necessiten veure els seus beneficis i sentir-se realitzats, a més de honrats per haver exercit un paper en ella.
Pot ser que a la persona més important se la consideri un líder, però un líder genuí és el que pot facilitar aquesta participació apreciativa i aquest sentiment col·lectiu d’honor. La cooperació s’obté amb la confiança: la confiança facilita la integració i la unitat.
Quan la ment se sent en pau, podem cooperar amb qualsevol cosa o persona. Ens convertim en éssers lliures, amb nosaltres mateixos, amb Déu i amb el joc de la vida. Aquí és on resideix el veritable poder.

Where the true power resides

The power of cooperation is natural: on this planet there could be nothing without it. How could human beings prosper without the cooperation of trees, plants, air, earth and sunlight? In the realm of nature you can see many examples of mutually beneficial cooperation.
We live in a society that would not exist without cooperation. Even if it does not work as well as it should, each of us provides a service that is very necessary for others; hospitals, bakeries, shops, schools …
Cooperation with the outside world is easy when we position ourselves with confidence and humility, leaving room for others to enter and create with us. Then, people are open, they are tolerant, and they feel they can trust.
If we want a shared task to be a real success, it must be satisfactory for everyone: everyone involved needs to see its benefits and feel fulfilled, as well as being honored for having played a role in it.
The most important person may be considered a leader, but a genuine leader is the one who can facilitate that appreciative participation and that collective feeling of honor. Cooperation is obtained with confidence: trust facilitates integration and unity.
When the mind feels at peace, we can cooperate with any thing or person. We become free beings, with ourselves, with God and with the game of life. That is where real power resides.
