Sempre hi ha una opció. Ningú pot fer-nos sentir pesar. El Raja Ioga ens dóna aquesta idea. No hem de reaccionar de manera negativa a les circumstàncies i a altres persones, fins i tot sota provocació.
Una vegada que comprenem que el pesar és la diferència entre el que és i el que desitgem, podem acceptar el que és i alliberar-nos del pesar. Podem ser tan forts que passi el que passi, ens mantinguem constantment contents i ens neguem a sentir pesar. Com tornar-nos tan forts?
“Constantment recorda a Déu”. Aquesta és una altra idea que rebem a través dels ensenyaments del Raja Ioga. Mitjançant el record constant podem experimentar fortalesa perquè Déu és un ésser de poder i felicitat il·limitats. Com més ho recordem, més ens assemblarem a Ell i així el nostre pesar i patiment acabaran. En cas contrari, sempre hi ha un o un altre motiu de pesar que no ens permet seguir sent feliços.

There is always an option. No one can make us feel sorrow. Raja Yoga gives us this idea. We do not have to react negatively to circumstances and other people, even under provocation.
Once we understand that regret is the difference between what it is and what we want, we can accept what it is and free ourselves from sorrow. We can be so strong that whatever happens, we keep constantly happy and refuse to feel sorrow. How to become so strong?
“Constantly remember God.” This is another idea that we receive through the teachings of Raja Yoga. Through constant remembrance we can experience strength because God is a being of unlimited power and happiness. The more we remember him, the more we will resemble Him and thus our sorrow and suffering will end. Otherwise, there is always one reason or another of sorrow that does not allow us to remain happy.
