Una flor de loto és molt bonica, sembla que suri en l’aigua empantanada d’una bassa que pot ser fins i tot immunda, tèrbola i plena d’insectes, però la planta, des del fons del llot s’alça intel·ligentment cap a la claror de la superfície, i allà esclata una poncella immaculada sense ni un esquitx de llot ni d’immundícia.

SLOGAN: Sigues tan desaferrat com un lotus i seràs digne de rebre l’amor de Déu.

Aquest eslògan ens parla de desaferrament de totes les brutícies que avui dia emmetzinen el món, les relacions, el materialisme, i, releguen l’espiritualitat al racó de l’oblit. Son totes aquelles coses que ens arrosseguen cap el fons del pantà, d’on costa molt desenganxar-se d’aquell llot. Per això la metàfora del lotus és clavada al que s’ha de fer per poder elevar l’esperit cap a Déu. Cap a la superfície com el lotus, sense ni gota de brutícia.

Una flor de loto es muy bella, parece flotar en el agua pantanosa de un estanque que hasta puede estar sucio, turbio y lleno de insectos, pero la planta, desde el fondo del lodo, se eleva inteligentemente hacia el brillo de la superficie, y allí estalla un brote inmaculado sin una sola salpicadura de lodo o inmundicia.

Este lema nos habla de desapego de toda la inmundicia que hoy envenenan al mundo, las relaciones, el materialismo, y relegan la espiritualidad al rincón del olvido. Son todas esas cosas que nos arrastran al fondo del pantano, de donde es muy difícil desprendernos de ese lodo. Por eso la metáfora del loto es justamente a lo que hay que hacer para poder elevar el espíritu hacia Dios. A la superficie como el loto, sin una gota de suciedad.
