Què s’entén de la paraula «vici» espiritualment parlant? Vici és qualsevol pensament maliciós o negatiu portat o no a la pràctica.
RETALLS: Hi ha un gran dany causat per bromes i riure. “Només estava fent broma”. Fins i tot això és perjudicial. No riguis ni facis broma sobre coses que tenen alguna olor de vici.
Riure, fer bromes o riure de bromes sanes, és quelcom sa tant per l’ànima com pel cos; però participar o ser còmplice de bromes malicioses fent-les o rient de les que els altres fan d’altres, és una deriva que danya l’ànima d’un mateix i dels que va dirigida la «broma», encara que de moment sembli que tothom s’ho passi molt bé.
L’ànima que som eixampla els seus horitzons quan hi ha bona fe en l’ambient, quan hi ha harmonia, quan hi han bons sentiments, quan es genera confiança. L’ànima gaudeix de la veritat. D’aquí ve la frase: «Quan hi ha veritat, l’ànima dansa». La veritat és honestedat al cor i netedat en la ment. Déu té la senyera de la veritat, Ell és Veritat, en Ell res és maliciós. Som fills d’Ell.., doncs, fem un esforç per assemblar-nos-Hi.

REMNANTS: There is great harm caused by jokes and laughter. “I was just joking.” Even that is harmful. Do not laugh or joke about things that have any smell of vice.
Laughing, making jokes or laughing at healthy jokes is something healthy for both the soul and the body; but participating or being an accomplice in malicious jokes by making them or laughing at those that others make of others, is a drift that damages the soul of oneself and those to whom the “joke” is directed, even if for the moment it seems that everyone is having a great time.
The soul that we are broadens its horizons when there is good faith in the environment, when there is harmony, when there are good feelings, when trust is generated. The soul enjoys the truth. Hence the phrase: “When there is truth, the soul dances.” Truth is honesty in the heart and purity in the mind. God has the banner of truth, He is Truth, in Him nothing is malicious. We are His children..so let us make an effort to resemble Him.

RETAZOS: Hay un gran daño que causan las bromas y las risas. “Solo estaba bromeando”. Hasta eso es dañino. No te rías ni hagas bromas de cosas que tengan algún olor a vicio.
Reír, hacer bromas o reírte de bromas sanas es algo saludable tanto para el alma como para el cuerpo; pero participar o ser cómplice de bromas maliciosas haciéndolas o riéndose de las que otros hacen de otros, es una deriva que daña el alma de uno mismo y de aquellos a quienes va dirigida la “broma”, aunque por el momento parezca que todos lo estén pasando muy bien.
El alma que somos ensancha sus horizontes cuando hay buena fe en el ambiente, cuando hay armonía, cuando hay buenos sentimientos, cuando se genera confianza. El alma disfruta de la verdad. De ahí la frase: “Cuando hay verdad, el alma danza”. La verdad es honestidad en el corazón y pureza en la mente. Dios tiene el estandarte de la verdad, Él es la Verdad, en Él nada es malicioso. Somos Sus hijos, así que esforcémonos por asemejarnos a Él.
