El servei de la religió fins ara

El capteniment que han forjat les religions en cada persona tant si era creient o no, ha mantingut a la majoria dels humans una mica prudents pel que fa a la seva forma de comportar-se. Aquesta mica de «pudor», mantingut per la majoria, i potser pels eminents, ha fet que la convivència hagi estat una mica més fàcil que sense això.
Ara.., no podria dir pas el mateix; fins i tot els eminents s’han tret les màscares i actuen com si ningú els veiés o, com si tan els fes, escudats en la seva influència i en els seus diners. No són conscients de l’impacte que tenen sobre la gent; són dalt d’un escenari i els que els veuen actuar.., pensen que tanmateix si ells ho fan i no els passa res.., que ells també no cal que es preocupin tant per mantenir les formes. És així com la humanitat va degradant-se irremeiablement. Quan s’ha fet un pas cap el «forat» ja no hi ha retorn.
Per això és tant important, encara que no creiem en una religió en concret, no fer com si ningú ens veiés comportar-nos malament. Els eminents són dalt d’un «escenari» però nosaltres també hi som; a més, quan critiquem, malparlem d’uns i d’altres, furtem, fem la «traveta» a algú, etc.., com a ànimes que som estem patint per dins; perquè en l’ànima encara hi ha una estela del que realment som: gent pacífica, amorosa, caritativa, etc.., no ho dubteu mai!

The attitude that religions have forged in each person, whether they are believers or not, has kept most humans a little cautious about their way of behaving. This little bit of “temperance”, maintained by the majority, and perhaps by the eminent, has made coexistence a little easier than without it.
Now.., I couldn’t say the same; even the eminent have taken off their masks and act as if no one sees them or, as if they didn’t care, shielded by their influence and their money. They are not aware of the impact they have on people; they are on a stage and those who see them act.., think that however if they do it and nothing happens to them.., that they too don’t need to worry so much about maintaining form. This is how humanity is irremediably degrading. Once you have taken a step into the “hole” there is no turning back.
That is why it is so important, even if we do not believe in a particular religion, not to act as if no one sees us behaving badly. The eminent are on a “stage” but we are there too; moreover, when we criticize, speak ill of others, steal, “trip” someone, etc., as souls we are we are suffering inside; because in the soul there is still a trace of what we really are: peaceful, loving, charitable people, etc., never doubt it!

La actitud que las religiones han forjado en cada persona, creyente o no, ha mantenido a la mayoría de los humanos algo cautelosos con su comportamiento. Este poco de “pudor”, mantenido por la mayoría, y quizás por las personas eminentes, ha facilitado la convivencia un poco más que sin ello.
Ahora…, no podría decir lo mismo; incluso las personas eminentes se han quitado las máscaras y actúan como si nadie los viera o, como si tanto les diera, protegidos por su influencia y su dinero. No son conscientes del impacto que tienen en la gente; están en un escenario y quienes los ven actuar piensan que, si lo hacen y no les pasa nada, ellos tampoco necesitan preocuparse tanto por mantener las formas. Así es como la humanidad se degrada irremediablemente. Una vez se ha dado un paso hacia el “hoyo”, no hay vuelta atrás.
Por eso es tan importante, aunque no creamos en ninguna religión en particular, no hacer como si nadie nos viera portarnos mal. Las personas eminentes están en un “escenario”, pero nosotros también lo estamos; además, cuando criticamos, despotricamos de otros, robamos, hacemos la “zancadilla” a alguien, etc., como almas que somos, sufrimos por dentro; porque en el alma aún queda un rastro de lo que realmente somos: personas pacíficas, amorosas, caritativas, etc. ¡Nunca lo duden!
