Com un jardiner
Perquè qualsevol activitat o relació romangui harmoniosa i aconseguida, hem de saber fins on intervenir i fins a quin punt retirar-nos.
És com un jardiner que sembra llavors quan correspon, entra al jardí, intervé, per sembrar-les i regar-les, i després es retira per permetre que la natura faci la seva feina. No obstant això, de tant en tant, torna a intervenir i entra al jardí per veure si hi ha prou aigua, si algun insecte ha atacat les plantes, si necessiten abonament. El seu paper consisteix a trobar l’espai adequat perquè sorgeixi la potencial bellesa de la singularitat que hi ha a les llavors; el jardiner no crea les flors, però facilita la seva expressió.
El jardiner no intervé massa; a això en diríem una interferència. Després de sembrar les llavors, no demana un resultat immediat, no remou la terra a l’endemà per veure si han brotat. Ell exerceix el seu paper, compleix amb la seva obligació, però se’n va, perquè entén que la floració no depèn d’ell. Però tampoc s’allunya gaire. Si ho fes, les plantes moririen per falta de cures o els insectes i les males herbes s’apoderarien d’elles. No s’allunya tant com per aïllar-se ell mateix del procés que està tenint lloc. En comptes d’això, per saber quan intervenir i quan retirar-se, crea una associació respectuosa amb la natura.
De la mateixa manera, nosaltres tenim el deure, o més aviat l’honor, de sembrar llavors positives de bones intencions, respecte i tolerància, alhora que permetem que els altres i les forces de l’univers tinguin el seu espai per a funcionar i respondre d’acord amb el seu temps i caràcter.
És un art saber quan fer un pas cap enrere i quan fer un pas cap endavant, però és un art molt necessari, sobretot, si volem aconseguir el benestar.Extracte de el llibre:

Like a gardener
For any activity or relationship to remain harmonious and successful, we must know how far to intervene and how far to withdraw.
It is like a gardener who sows seeds when appropriate, enters the garden, steps in, to sow and water them, and then withdraws to allow nature to do its work. However, from time to time, he intervenes again and goes into the garden to see if there is enough water, if any insects have attacked the plants, if they need compost. Their role is to find the right space for the potential beauty of the uniqueness in the seeds to emerge; the gardener does not create the flowers, but facilitates their expression.
The gardener does not intervene much; we would call that an interference. After sowing the seeds, he does not ask for an immediate result, he does not stir the soil the next day to see if they have sprouted. He plays his role, fulfills his obligation, but leaves, because he understands that flowering does not depend on him. But it doesn’t stray too far either. If you do, the plants will either die from lack of care or will be taken over by insects and weeds. He does not stray far enough to isolate himself from the process that is taking place. Instead, to know when to step in and when to leave, he create a respectful association with nature.
In the same way, we have the duty, or rather the honor, to sow positive seeds of good intentions, respect and tolerance, while allowing others and the forces of the universe to have their space to function and respond accordingly. with his time and character.
