Sota el miratge/Under the mirage/Bajo el espejismo
Es diu que aquest món és un miratge; que la humanitat està sota la influència d’una utopia. A la Índia se l’ha personificat amb un nom: Maia. En moments de gran dolor l’ànima Li fa una promesa a Déu:
“-Menjaré amb Tu, m’asseuré amb Tu, consolaré la meva ànima amb Tu…”
Potser a l’Occident no és aquesta exactament la promesa que se Li fa a Déu si ens allibera de les penúries.., però l’efecte és similar. L’ànima, és a dir, l’estat d’ànim, es tranquil·litza.
Però a mi, com a occidental.., m’ha arribat profundament “consolaré la meva ànima amb Tu”, doncs aquest és el secret més preciós i oblidat per la major part de “cristians” batejats per norma i exempts de vocació espiritual. És una llàstima que sigui així, però sempre s’hi és a temps a forjar una relació amb Déu; Ell sempre té els “braços” oberts; hi cap tothom.
Recordo els ulls d’una persona molt creient però no practicant, quan li vaig dir que el més important és parlar-hi encara que sigui mentalment; reservar uns instants cada dia del nostre temps i estar en connexió amb Ell. En una altra ocasió em va explicar que un dia estava tan ofegada per les coses negatives que li passaven, que ho va fer, i.., no recordà quant temps estigué absorta en aquesta relació Divina, però quan es va acabar, va sortir alegre i plena de solucions.
This world is said to be a mirage; that humanity is under the influence of a utopia. In India it has been personified by a name: Maya. In moments of great pain the soul makes a promise to God:
“-I will eat with you, I will sit with you, I will console my soul with you…”
Perhaps in the West this is not exactly the promise made to God if he frees us from hardship.., but the effect is similar. The soul, that is, the state of mind, calms down.
But me, as a Westerner.., I have been deeply touched by “I will console my soul with you”, because this is the most precious secret and forgotten by most “Christians” baptized by rule and exempt from spiritual vocation. It is a pity that this is the case, but there is always time to forge a relationship with God; He always has open arms; into its arms fits everyone .
I remember the eyes of a very believing but not practicing person, when I told him that the important thing is to speak to him even mentally; reserve a few moments every day of our time and be in connection with Him. On another occasion she explained to me that one day she was so drowned by the negative things that happened to her, that she did it, and.., she did not remember how long she was absorbed in this Divine relationship, but when it ended, it came out happy and full of solutions.
Se dice que este mundo es un espejismo; que la humanidad está bajo la influencia de una utopía. En la India se lo ha personificado con un nombre: Maya. En momentos de gran dolor el alma Le hace una promesa a Dios:
“-Comeré contigo, me sentaré contigo, consolaré mi alma contigo…”
Quizás en Occidente no es ésta exactamente la promesa que se le hace a Dios si nos libera de las penurias.., pero el efecto es similar. El alma, es decir, el estado de ánimo, se tranquiliza.
Pero a mí, como occidental.., me ha tocado profundamente “consolaré mi alma contigo”, pues éste es el secreto más precioso y olvidado por la mayor parte de “cristianos” bautizados por norma y exentos de vocación espiritual. Es una lástima que así sea, pero siempre se está a tiempo a forjar una relación con Dios; Él siempre tiene los brazos abiertos; cabe todo el mundo.
Recuerdo los ojos de una persona muy creyente pero no practicante, cuando le dije que lo importante es hablarle aunque sea mentalmente; reservar unos instantes todos los días de nuestro tiempo y estar en conexión con Él. En otra ocasión me explicó que un día estaba tan ahogada por las cosas negativas que le ocurrían, que lo hizo, y.., no recordó cuánto tiempo estuvo absorta en esta relación Divina, pero cuando acabó, salió alegre y llena de soluciones.
