Aquesta afirmació dóna molta serenor.
- El futur està garantit. El present és encara més elevat que el futur.
Aquesta frase té un rerefons gens superficial si l’analitzem en detall.
Què és el futur? Per què ens preocupa tant el futur?
Potser ens oblidem de viure el present, de ser conscients d’ell, perquè ens sembla que ja ens ve donat pel fet d’estar vius. Tanmateix, també està garantit, mentre estiguem vius, el futur; aquest sí que ens ve donat, però, pel què estiguem pensant, per quina sigui la nostra actitud, per quines accions estiguem fent en cada segon del present; de tot això en dependrà l’estructura principal del futur immediat i a llarg termini.
Per tant, què és més important o elevat, el present o el futur?
Jo ho tinc molt clar després de la reflexió: pel futur, el què depengui de mi ho estic creant ara. Per a mi, el present és el pinzell que esbossa damunt del llenç del futur. Si no hi ha present no hi pot haver futur.

What is the future? Why are we so worried about the future?
Perhaps we forget to live in the present, to be aware of it, because it seems to us that it is already given to us by the fact of being alive. However, while we are alive, the future is also guaranteed; this one is given to us, but, by what we are thinking, by whatever our attitude, by what actions we are doing in every second of the present; the main structure of the immediate and long-term future will depend on all this.
So what is more important or elevated, the present or the future?
I have it very clear after reflection: for the future, whatever depends on me I am creating now. For me, the present is the brush that sketches on the canvas of the future. If there is no present there can be no future.

¿Qué es el futuro? ¿Por qué nos preocupa tanto el futuro?
Quizás nos olvidemos de vivir el presente, de ser conscientes de él, porque nos parece que ya nos viene dado por el hecho de estar vivos. Sin embargo, también está garantizado, mientras estemos vivos, el futuro; este sí que nos viene dado, pero, por lo que estemos pensando, por cual sea nuestra actitud, por qué acciones estemos haciendo en cada segundo del presente; de todo ello va a depender la estructura principal del futuro inmediato y a largo plazo.
Por lo tanto, ¿qué es más importante o elevado, el presente o el futuro?
Yo lo tengo muy claro después de la reflexión: para el futuro, lo que dependa de mí lo estoy creando ahora. Para mí, el presente es el pincel que esboza encima del lienzo del futuro. Si no hay presente no puede haber futuro.
