La bellesa interior
Les virtuts són la bellesa d’una persona; són el que la fan adorable i única; són el color, la forma, el perfil de la personalitat. Determinen la manera de fer les coses, la seva manera de moure’s, de parlar, de vestir. Pot no tenir diners, però, si té virtuts, sempre farà la impressió de riquesa perquè tot el que l’envolta serà de qualitat.
Les virtuts brillen cap a l’exterior i en tot: al cos, a l’entorn, i a l’essència de l’univers; omplen el que està buit, sanen el que està malalt i calmen el que està intranquil.
Però, sota les virtuts, hi ha d’haver silenci, ja que el silenci és l’or que realça les joies i les protegeix de la dispersió i del desgast. En el silenci, descobrim com fer servir la riquesa, on invertir-la i, fins i tot, com incrementar-ne el valor.
Hi ha una història sobre una terra que, certa vegada, va ser habitada per homes i dones que, instintivament, sabien com conviure millor els uns amb els altres. I la història explica que el seu primer habitant era una dona anomenada Lakshmi (que significa Deessa de la Riquesa o de les Virtuts) i el segon era un home, Narayan (aquell que va aconseguir la perfecció mitjançant el silenci del ioga).
Quan el silenci i les virtuts caracteritzen una relació entre dues persones, hi ha harmonia. Quan el silenci i les virtuts coexisteixen en una mateixa persona, hi ha perfecció. La perfecció és possible doncs, altrament, no existiria una paraula per a ella.

The inner beauty
Virtues are the beauty of a person; they are what make her lovable and unique; they are the color, the shape, the profile of his personality. They determine the way of doing things, their way of moving, speaking, dressing. She may not have money, but if she has virtues, she will always give the impression of wealth because everything around her will be of quality.
The virtues shine outwards and in everything: in the body, in the environment, and in the essence of the universe; they fill what is empty, heal what is ill, and soothe what is restless.
But, beneath the virtues, there must be silence, for silence is the gold that enhances jewels and protects them from dispersion and wear. In the silence, we discover how to use wealth, where to invest it, and even how to increase its value.
There is a story about a land that, once upon a time, was inhabited by men and women who instinctively knew how to live better with each other. And the story goes that its first inhabitant was a woman named Lakshmi (meaning Goddess of Wealth or Virtues) and the second was a man, Narayan (one who achieved perfection through the silence of yoga).
When silence and virtues characterize a relationship between two people, there is harmony. When silence and virtues coexist in the same person, there is perfection. Perfection is possible, otherwise there would be no word for it.
