Do you remember how you imagined the world to be when you were small children?
POINTS FROM MATESHWARI: Every human being must definitely ask themselves, «what is the purpose of this life?»
The two words «peace and happiness» that have arisen must surely have corresponded to a reality that once existed in this world, after all, that is why people yearn for them. If such a world had never been seen, how could one believe in it? There is such a vast difference between life today and that life. Therefore, we must strive to create a life as elevated as that one.
I remember this very clearly from the time I first became conscious of the world. To me the world, it was a beautiful place to live peacefully and happily. Through a child’s eyes, I saw everyone as beings worthy of love and beings who held love for everyone else. I trusted them as if they were my own family. Where did all this come from.., where was this awareness formed when if I was only just beginning to live..? We arrive not as a blank slate, as is often claimed, but rather as pages filled with experiences from past lives; no. Everything remains within us, beyond the subconscious; it is all filed away, all imprinted.., If we had never seen it, we could never have imagined it.
So now.., what should be the goal of this life at this moment? Just as Mateshwariji said.., «strive to create a life as elevated as that one.» We are already running late!
