KUMBHAKARNA (adormits)

Ens han inculcat des de petits que, Déu ho pot tot i que fins i tot pot reviure els morts. Que al final dels temps Ell vindrà i farà que qui estava mort i enterrat torni a la vida. Però tot això va molt més enllà del significat literal, és una metàfora que s’ha de rellegir molt bé i entendre el rerefons que hi ha.

APROFUNDINT: No és que, perquè sigui Déu, Ell pugui reviure a una persona morta.

Quan no hi ha esperança, fe, amor, confiança.., és com si l’ànima hagués mort, o, com si s’hagués adormit. Aleshores, amb la consciència adormida vaguem pel món com si fóssim morts vivents, sense esma, sense cap mena de motivació que no sigui la de passar-s’ho bé el temps que ens quedi. Llavors, anant bé, ens preguntem, quin sentit té la vida? I això és bo! Preguntar-s’ho vol dir que no tenim tanta son com sembla.
Si guardem al cor coses «podrides» (vicis: pensaments negatius, enveges.., etc.), Déu no podrà vindre a «seure» al nostre cor de l’ànima, perquè ja està ple! No sentirem la Seva energia intentant despertar-nos d’aquella mort, d’aquella son. Està bé qüestionar-se el significat de la vida, perquè començarem a fer endreça de dins nostre.., i així Ell podrà començar a fer el que la metàfora malentesa diu que Déu fa: «reviure els morts», l’ànima que cadascú és se sentirà revitalitzada.

KUMBHAKARNA (sleeping)

We have been taught since childhood that God can do anything and can even revive the dead. That at the end of time He will come and make those who were dead and buried come back to life. But all this goes far beyond the literal meaning, it is a metaphor that must be reread very well and understand the background there.

DEEPENING: It is not that, because He is God, He can revive a dead person.

When there is no hope, faith, love, trust…, it is as if the soul had died, or as if it had fallen asleep. Then, with a sleeping conscience we wander through the world as if we were the living dead, without purpose, without any motivation other than to have a good time while we have left. Then, if we saty on the right track, we wonder, what the meaning of life is? And that is good! Asking ourselves this means that we are not as sleepy as we seem.
If we keep “rotten” things in our hearts (vices: negative thoughts, envy, etc.), God will not be able to come and “sit” in our heart of soul, because it is already full! We will not feel His energy trying to wake us up from that death, from that sleep. It is good to question the meaning of life, because we will begin to tidy up inside ourselves, and thus He will be able to begin to do what the misunderstood metaphor says God does: “revive the dead”, the soul that each one is will feel revitalized.

KUMBHAKARNA (dormidos)

Desde la infancia nos han enseñado que Dios puede hacer cualquier cosa e incluso resucitar a los muertos. Que al final de los tiempos vendrá y devolverá la vida a quienes murieron y fueron sepultados. Pero todo esto va mucho más allá del significado literal; es una metáfora que debe ser releída muy bien y entender el trasfondo que hay en ello.

PROFUNDIZANDO: No es que, por ser Dios, Él pueda revivir a una persona muerta.

Cuando no hay esperanza, fe, amor, confianza…, es como si el alma hubiera muerto o se hubiera quedado dormida. Entonces, con la conciencia dormida, vagamos por el mundo como muertos vivientes, sin propósito, sin ninguna otra motivación que pasarlo bien el tiempo que nos quede. Entonces, si no nos torcemos, ¿nos preguntamos, ¿qué sentido tiene la vida?” ¡Y eso es bueno! Preguntarnos esto significa que no estamos tan dormidos como parecemos.
Si albergamos cosas “podridas” en nuestro corazón (vicios: pensamientos negativos, envidia, etc.), Dios no podrá venir a “sentarse” en nuestro corazón del alma, ¡porque ya está lleno! No sentiremos Su energía tratando de despertarnos de esa muerte, de ese sueño. Está bien cuestionarse el sentido de la vida, porque comenzaremos a ordenar nuestro interior, y así Él podrá comenzar a hacer lo que la metáfora malinterpretada dice que hace Dios: “revivir a los muertos”, el alma que cada uno es se sentirá revitalizada.
