La persona més rica
Qui és més ric, qui ho té tot o qui no li cal res?
SLOGAN: “Els que son ignorants dels desigs limitats tenen gran riquesa.”
Si ens poguéssim aplicar l’eslògan d’avui, tindríem la major riquesa que qualsevol persona, la més rica del món, hagués pogut tenir mai.
Si no desitjo res és que ja ho tinc tot, però res que sigui físic pot acomplir cap desig de forma permanent, només ens omple allò que és permanent, allò que mai pot escapolir-se com l’aigua entremig del dits.
Quan es té suficient per viure, perquè seguir desitjant? No entenem que és una addicció majorment induïda pel consumisme. Quan més tenim més volem i mai s’atura aquesta obsessió.
Al capdavall.., aquest desfici ve per una manca: manca amor veritable. Recordeu un refrany? “Amb tu, pa i ceba”, i és exactament així, quan es té el millor.., ja no cal res més. Què millor que l’amor per Déu?

Who is richer, who has everything or who does not need anything?
SLOGAN: “Those who are ignorant of limited desires have great wealth.”
If we could apply today’s slogan to ourselves, we would have the greatest wealth that anyone, the richest in the world, could ever have.
If I do not want anything, then I already have everything, but nothing that is physical can permanently fulfill any desire, only the permanent fills us, which can never drain like water between the fingers.
When you have enough to live, why keep wishing? We do not understand that it is an addiction mostly induced by consumerism. The more we have the more we want and this obsession never stops.
After all.., this uneasiness comes from a lack: a lack of true love. Do you remember a saying? “With you, bread and onion”, and it is exactly like that, when you have the best.., you no longer need anything else. What better than love for God?

¿Quién es más rico, quién tiene todo o quién no necesita nada?
SLOGAN: “Aquellos que ignoran los deseos limitados tienen una gran riqueza”.
Si pudiéramos aplicarnos el lema de hoy a nosotros mismos, tendríamos la mayor riqueza que cualquiera, el más rico del mundo, podría tener.
Si no deseo nada, entonces ya lo tengo todo, pero nada de lo físico puede satisfacer permanentemente ningún deseo, solo lo permanente nos llena, aquello que nunca puede escurrirse como agua entre los dedos.
Cuando tienes suficiente para vivir, ¿por qué seguir deseando? No entendemos que se trata de una adicción mayoritariamente inducida por el consumismo. Cuanto más tenemos, más queremos y esta obsesión nunca se detiene.
Después de todo.., esta inquietud proviene de una falta: una falta de amor verdadero. ¿Recuerdas un dicho? “Contigo, pan y cebolla”, y es exactamente así, cuando tienes lo mejor.., ya no necesitas nada más. ¿Qué mejor que el amor por Dios?
