Si Ell ens parlés amb el Seu llenguatge.., de segur no entendríem ni un borrall. Ell ens posa tantes metàfores perquè son les experiències vitals que tenim mentre som en un cos, i així, comprenem la subtilesa del coneixement espiritual. Si s’ha llegit l’escriptura cristiana, la bíblia, podrem apreciar que les metàfores hi son anomenades paràboles. I així passa en totes les escriptures religioses. Però de vegades es prenen literal i ens allunyem del missatge que hi ha implícit en elles. Per aquest motiu les metàfores prenen el seu complert significat quan més ens endinsem en la espiritualitat, és com si una llum s’hagués encès il.luminant el nou camí emprès. Com més s’avança en aquest camí menys metàfores caldrà per comprendre-ho tot.
If He spoke to us with His language…, surely we would not understand a bit. He gives us so many metaphors because they are the vital experiences that we have while we are in a body, and thus we understand the subtlety of spiritual knowledge. If you have read the Christian scripture, the Bible, you will appreciate that metaphors are called parables. And so it is in all religious scriptures. But sometimes they are taken literally and we move away from the message that is implicit in them. Hence, the metaphors take their full meaning when we get deeper into spirituality, it is as if a light had been turned on illuminating the new path undertaken. The more you advance on this path, the less metaphors will be necessary to understand everything.
Si Él nos hablara con Su lenguaje.., seguro que no entenderíamos ni una pizca. Él nos pone tantas metáforas porque son las experiencias vitales que tenemos mientras estamos en un cuerpo, y así comprendemos la sutileza del conocimiento espiritual. Si se ha leído la escritura cristiana, la biblia, podremos apreciar que las metáforas son llamadas parábolas. Y así ocurre en todas las escrituras religiosas. Pero en ocasiones se toman literalmente y nos alejamos del mensaje que hay implícito en ellas. De ahí que las metáforas tomen su completo significado cuando más nos adentramos en la espiritualidad, es como si una luz se hubiera encendido iluminando el nuevo camino emprendido. Cuanto más se avanza en este camino menos metáforas será necesarias para comprenderlo todo.
