Hem estat molt de temps pensant que només som aquest cos que tenim, per això ens fem dependents del què sentim a través d’ell. També estem a mercè de la felicitat que puguem rebre a través d’ell.., però això és tan efímer.., i succeeix així perquè aquest món on vivim és dual, tant vénen coses bones com dolentes. Aquest s’ha tornat el joc del miratge; ens hi hem submergit i no ens adonem que ens ofeguem en desigs complerts i no complerts. Quan ens fem conscients de la nostra veritable identitat d’ànima que maneja aquest cos, també ens adonem de les trampes del joc i llavors un somriure interior ens allibera d’estar forçats pel miratge, per Maia com es diu a la Índia. L’ànima és sobirana; per tant, quan som conscients de que som l’ànima, aleshores és quan prenem les regnes de la direcció de la nostra vida. Doncs l’ànima està per damunt de tot aspecte físic.
We have been thinking for a long time that we are only that body that we have, that is why we become dependent on what we feel through it. Hemos estado mucho tiempo pensando que sólo somos ese cuerpo que tenemos, por eso nos hacemos dependientes de lo que sentimos a través de él. También estamos a merced de la felicidad que podamos recibir a través de él.., pero esto es tan efímero.., y sucede así porque este mundo en el que vivimos es dual, tanto vienen cosas buenas como malas. Éste se ha vuelto el juego del espejismo; nos hemos sumergido en él y no nos damos cuenta de que nos ahogamos en deseos cumplidos y no cumplidos. Cuando nos hacemos conscientes de nuestra verdadera identidad de alma que maneja este cuerpo, también nos damos cuenta de las trampas del juego y entonces una sonrisa interior nos libera de estar forzados por el espejismo, por Maya como se dice en la India. El alma es soberana; por tanto, cuando somos conscientes de que somos el alma, entonces es cuando tomamos las riendas de la dirección de nuestra vida. Pues el alma está por encima de todo aspecto físico.
