A bird in flight is evidently not clinging to any branch—unlike those learning to fly for the first time, who flap their wings frantically without realizing that their talons are dug into the tree’s bark, preventing them from taking off.
BLESSING: To travel through the subtle realm and the incorporeal world, use your intellect once you have completely freed yourself from attachment to this world, «flying bird.»
If, while meditating, we focus our attention on visualizing a zone of light where silence reigns, we will have reached the subtle realm with our mind. This could be described as the «transition» point toward the incorporeal world, a place of pure Divine energy. To achieve this, one must be free of thoughts regarding the physical world. The physical world hinders our «flight» because its energy is dense; it anchors us to the ground, much like the bird that wants to take flight but remains clinging to the branch.
This is a precise method; with frequent practice, we will become skilled in the art of positive detachment.
